Ok, bad example. The Toy Dolls were kinda punky, even if that skinny little guy with the Deirdre Barlow glasses did look a bit silly. Shoulda gone to Specsavers. [img]smile.gif[/img]
But novelty songs in general, as with most singles these days, are aimed at primary school kids. I nearly said Smash Hits/J17 readers, but I doubt many kids can actually read these days.
It is embarrassing to have such a thing making so much news, but really the singles chart means nothing.
